What is established

Discovered in eight independently indexed podcast transcript contexts carrying the same inserted Liberty Mutual audio creative. Doug introduces an intentionally excessive musical expression of customizing and saving; multiple sung voices rhyme saving with increasing one's wealth, after which Doug decides it may have been too much feeling.

The earliest located host-episode context is Old Time Radio Westerns on August 7, 2025. Its historical indexed transcript places Emu Music immediately before a Sherwin-Williams sale explicitly running August 8–14, providing strong contextual evidence that this dynamic-ad bundle was indexed around that week. It remains a circulation bound rather than an advertiser-supplied premiere date.

Wave's automatic speaker labels repeatedly assign lines from the inserted advertisement to podcast hosts, guests, and story subjects. Those labels are transcription artifacts and are not used as casting evidence. David Hoffman is therefore not attached at reel level until the audio or an attributable production source verifies the performance.

The host episodes are dated September 12, September 13, September 29, October 1, and October 16, 2025, but all five can carry dynamically inserted or replaced advertising. Those dates establish transcript contexts, not the creative's premiere. Monsters Among Us and Under the Influence each contain the creative twice; Monsters places one occurrence immediately after Natural Habitat, while Dragnet independently preserves the two creatives back-to-back in the opposite order.

No official title, catalog page, production credit, or stable audio master has yet been located. The working title quotes the script and does not imply that the creative had a video counterpart.

Complete silent local transcriptions of the three retained current podcast enclosures found none of the Liberty/LiMu or distinctive musical phrases. The ads have been dynamically replaced; the negative result is availability evidence and does not upgrade this reel to directly heard.

A silent transcription of the current official Dragnet enclosure's first 90 seconds found a She's Birdie ad rather than either historically indexed Liberty Mutual creative. The current file and audit are retained as replacement evidence, not reel audio.

The Old Time Radio Westerns witness is now tied to publisher RSS GUID https://www.otrwesterns.com/?p=13731 and official Spreaker episode 55735895. Spreaker's underlying episode object dates to July 2023, while the publisher feed republishes it on August 7, 2025; this supports a dynamic-insertion reading rather than dating the Liberty creative from the underlying program. The current enclosure begins with a She's Birdie ad, and the Internet Archive availability API reports no archived enclosure snapshot near August 10, 2025.

A January 27, 2026 Reddit commenter independently reported hearing a Liberty Mutual radio ad in which they sang 'emu music.' This weakly corroborates radio circulation beyond podcast insertion but is retained at Grade D: the commenter supplied no recording, station, market, or listening date.

  • CWave's historical index places the complete Emu Music insertion at the start of an Old Time Radio Westerns episode published August 7, immediately before a Sherwin-Williams ad for a sale running August 8–14. The time-limited adjacent ad strongly places that indexed dynamic-ad bundle around the same week, making it the earliest located circulation context; it does not establish an official Liberty Mutual premiere date.
  • DA contemporaneous Reddit commenter independently described hearing a Liberty Mutual radio ad where the performers sang 'emu music.' The recollection corroborates a radio context but supplies no recording, station, market, or exact listening date and therefore does not establish premiere chronology.
  • DA Spotify Community user reported the audio ad under the descriptive name `Liberty Mutual "emu music"`, gave a latest listening time of 10:11 a.m. on September 11, 2025, said it occurred throughout the day, and identified the dramatic sung `save yourself money today` line. This is the earliest precise listening report located so far, but it remains a user report rather than an official release date, retained master, or advertiser-supplied title.
